POTD - Butterflies [girly]
These embroidered butterflies adorn a Chinese silk robe my sister bought for me many, many years ago (probably 10 years ago!). I always thought it was too pretty to wear (I didn't want to soil it), so it hung in my closet for many, many years. Until Erica discovered it and claimed it as hers. I realize that her philosophy of enjoying things in the here and now is better than my 'don't touch it because you might ruin it' thought process.
I am glad I didn't wear it all these years, though, because now I can enjoy it on her.
These are simply beautiful. I can see why you would want to preserve it - but probably even better to see on Erica.
