Gratitude Post 5 - Family

family in Chinese - pronounced 'jia ting'

Today, I am posting about how grateful I am for my family - specifically, my husband and kids - Scott, Erica and Brian.

All in all, we have a fun time together - sure, we have our disagreements, our bad moods, our bad attitudes and our outright fights, but at the end of the day, I couldn't ask for two better kids and husband.

Last night, we engaged several Laser tag games with another family. The kids suggested it at 3:30, and at 7:00, we were there - so that's pretty spontaneous for us. It was a blast for adults and kids. Afterward, I thought about how much fun our family is, how we played together and enjoyed our time together. I know there will come a day (sooner than I think) when these type of family outings will be less spontaneous and less frequent. And so I need to appreciate and enjoy my family as much as possible, now.

GOOD for you! Joining in is so hard to do when there are so many other things to do :) Any pics? or were you too busy having fun?

I purposely left the camera at home - I knew I couldn't take pictures and play the game, and the arena is fairly dark and lit with black light. Just had fun this time!
